Arab Health Ministers allocate $100 as urgent aid for Yemen

The Council of Arab Health Ministers have agreed to offer Yemen an urgent $100,000 worth of urgent aid, mainly a variety of medicines and medical supplies.
In a final communiqué at the conclusion of its 49th session in Cairo on Thursday, the council, an organ of the Arab League, agreed on a similar amount of aid to Somalia.
The Council called on the member countries to help provide medicines and other support to the Yemen health sector in coordination with the regional office of the World Health Organization.
