ERC allocates 12 million Saudi riyals to rehabilitate Khowkha facilities

The governor of Hodeidah province, Dr. Hassan Taher, said that the Emirati Red Crescent has allocated 12 million Saudi riyals to rehabilitate some of the damaged facilities in Al-Khowkha District of Hodeidah in the aftermath of driving Houthi rebels out of them and of the whole town.
In a statement to Yemen News Agency (Saba), Taher said that the facilities that will be fully rehabilitated include schools, health centers and security installations. The ERC will fund the procurement of a large power generator to address the problem of electricity shortage in the district.
Taher said that the UAE plays a major role in providing the necessary relief and health assistance to the liberated areas in Al-Khowkha and Hays districts.
