Yemen's Ambassador to Canada Jamal al-Sallal discussed on Monday with Canadian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs aspects of cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
Al-Sallal reviewed political situations in Yemen and recent tragic incidents in Aden. He pointed out to humanitarian situations faced by Yemen and the Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen 2018 made by Saudi Arabia and approved by Yemen's government, thanking Canadian generous support in humanitarian field via UN organizations.
For her part, the Canadian official renewed her country's support to Yemen and its stand by the Yemeni people, its unity, security and stability.
She expressed hope of resumption of the political dialogue under the UN as soon as possible for reaching a political solution in accordance with the three peace references for ending suffering of the Yemeni people.
