Houthi militia carried out 26 attacks against civilians in Taiz province last year resulted in killing 52 people and wounding 96 more, according to a report by the Center of Information and Training on Human Rights.

A statement issued by the Center the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy of, stated that the militiamen targeted activists and workers operate in the field of humanitarian aid.

The latest crimes the militia committed was the killing of the famous woman activist Reham Badr Abdulwas'a and her companion Mo'men Sa'eed Humood, and critically wounding Ahmed Mohammed Assamit. The three persons were deliberately targeted by the militia's snipers who shot dead Reham and Mo'men and injured Assamit while they were on a humanitarian relief in the area of Salat Al-Qoraifat eastern the city of Taiz on Wednesday February 7, 2018, according the Center.

The Center of Information and Training on Human Rights strongly condemned these crimes by the militia against the civilians, calling on the UN High Commissionaire of Human Rights to denounce these atrocities and act seriously to stop such massacres. Human
