ADEN-SABA
Minister of Health and Population Naserba'Om has confirmed that the government will work hard to improve health services despite difficulties suffered by people over the war waged by Iranian Houthi militia on the country.
The war waged by Houthi Militia destroyed 45 percent of health facilities and left huge deterioration in health sector across the country, Minister ba'Om told Saba on Wednesday.
He praised efforts exerted by health cadre in containing epidemics caused by the war like cholera, diarrhea, malaria, dengue fever and other diseases.
He pointed out that health services in liberated provinces have been improved greatly; bed capacity in Aden increased from 250 to 1300 and medicines have been provided by King Salman Center for Relief, the UAE Red Crescent and Kuwaiti Fund for treating patients.
He made it clear that public and private hospitals in liberated provinces have received more than 40 thousand injured people and Saudi Arabia is still providing necessary fund for operating al-Salam Hospital in Sa'ada and Hajja.
