Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Yemen's ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed Mutahar Al-Ashabi met on Wednesday with Undersecretary of Pakistani Foreign Ministry for Middle East affairs, ambassador A'tizaz Ahmed.
During the meeting Al-Ashabi handed the Pakistani official a letter from the Deputy Premier, Foreign Ministry Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi to his Pakistani counterpart Khwajah A'sif Mohammed. The letter is said to have addressed bilateral ties between the two countries.
The meeting also touched upon several issues and topics of common interests between Ye men and Pakistan.
The Pakistani official reiterated his own country's support for Yemen and reestablishing security, stability and putting an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
