The Scientific Annual Conference for Blood Diseases and Tumors organized by the National Tumor Center and Association for Combating Tumors in cooperation with Aden University and participated by 150 physicians and researchers.
The conference will discuss 25 scientific papers associated with blood diseases and distributed on four points; burdens of cancer medication in Yemen, widespread diseases, targeted medication and its role in recovery, as well as fertility of youth survived from cancer.
Child cancers, effects of fatness and diabetes on liver cancer and spread of cancer in the southern provinces, were also key topics addressed by the conference.
The working papers included children who are receiving bed treatment in the National Tumor Center, early diagnosis of nerve cell, blood tests and modern techniques, evaluation study of anemia among patients of different types of cancer.
The participants confirmed in their first day on setting up and carrying out national strategies for combating cancer, calling concerned bodies to pay operational budgets of tumor centers for providing their services to patients.
