Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

PM orders one month salary for armed and security servicemen

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher has given instructions on Friday to Minister of Interior, Minister of Finance and Chief of Staff to pay the troops and security forces one month salary payment. All armed and security servicemen in all military and security units shall be paid. This shall be started from next Sunday in cooperation with the Central Bank of Yemen in accordance with the instructions by the President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Dr Bin-Dagher also ordered the Ministry of Finance to accomplish procedures about paying civil service employees and retirees salary of January which were suspended due to bloody events in the interim capital Aden.
The Prime Minister urged the Ministries and government's institutions to comply with official working hours from next Sunday February 4, 2018.
