Participants of the Annual Conference of Interior Ministry's senior officers confirmed absolute support for constitutional leadership and government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Commander-in-chief, and His Excellency Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin Dagher in the ongoing struggle for restoring the state's institutions, eliminate Houthi coup d'état and establishing peace based on the GCC's brokered deal and its operational mechanism and International Security Council resolution 2216.
The two-day gathering held in the interim capital Aden, chaired by the Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maisari.
In the final statement issued by the Convention, the senior officers of Interior Ministry expressed deep appreciation of the vitally important role played by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for restore legality in Yemen; highly praising the significant contribution by the United Arab Emirates to the Coalition's operations and efforts aiming to counter the Iranian expansion policy disguised by Houthis' mantle in Yemen.
The participants paid tributes to the martyrs of the armed of security forces who sacrifices their lives to defend the nation's national interests against Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup and terrorist groups.
The final statement included a number or recommendations aimed to improve security services actions, maintain security and stability in the interim capital Aden and all government's held provinces and regions. To this end, they recommended the following:
-Re-activate security committees in the liberated provinces and interim capital Aden,
-Devise practical mechanisms to better coordinate security apparatuses' actions, through close coordination between military, security and intelligences services.
-Restructuring and building the Ministry of Interior on professional and institutional bases.
-Re-establishing police institutions, training police servicemen and equipping police with the necessary equipments and resources.
