ADEN- SABA:
The Cabinet held an extraordinary meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin-Daghrin Aden to discuss the plan for distributing the received aid shipment of fuel to power plants in the liberated provinces.
Bin-Daghr commended the brotherly Saudi support to Yemen in different fields including by supply of badly needed fuel.
"Saudi Arabia's support with fuel for power plants reflects the follow-up of His Excellency President (Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi) (…) with the brothers in the Kingdom" which resulted also in a $2 billion bailout Saudi Arabia deposited in Yemen's Central Bank to stabilize the Riyal currency.
Another form of support besides the deposit was a shipment of diesel that will cover the needs of power plants in the liberated provinces for the year 2018.
The Cabinet examined the map for distributing the fuel aid shipment; it is supposed to cover Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Dhali'a, Marib, Shabwa, Jawf, Hadhramout, Mahara Socotra, Mokha and the liberated parts of Beidha and Yemen's western coastline.
The Council stressed the necessity of making full transparent and optimal use of the fuel aid provided by Saudi Arabia and other brotherly counties of the Arab Coalition.
