The governor of Lahjprovince Maj. Gen. Ahmed Abdullah Turki has praised the humanitarian activities of the Norwegian Refugee Council inLahj last year. In a meeting with a delegation from the NRC in Lahj on Sunday, Torki discussed with them the NRC's plan for 2018 projects in the field of water, education, food security and fisheries.
Torkiasserted his support to all the activities of the NRCfor its positive interventions in Yemen. He pointed to the size of damage the Houthis and other terrorist groups incurred in the province during their short-lived controls.
