The First Media Conference for Propagating for Achievements and Programs of the Joint Arab Labor Institutions commenced on Sunday its activities here.

Yemen has participated in the conference with a delegation headed by Yemen's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Riyad al-Okbiri.

The Conference discusses a number of key issues on education, culture, scientific research, unemployment, hiring laborers, youth and food and water security, as well as poverty, internally displaced people and refugees and facing extremism.

The conference also tackles the role of the Arab Labor Institutions for achieving the sustainable development's objectives 2030 in the Arab Region and the role of different media outlets in promoting for activities of the joint Arab institutions.

The conference is the first of its kind and comes in the framework of shedding lights on the key role of Joint Arab Labor Institutions under the umbrella of the Arab League, said the Under Secretary General and the Head of Economic Affairs Sector Kamal Hassan.

Ambassadors and representatives of Arab countries and a number of public figures are participating in the conference.
