The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference OIC Dr. Yusuf bin Ahmed al-Otheimeen has renewed the OIC's support to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's government.
Opening a meeting for the OIC's Special Communication Team on Yemen in the OIC's headquarters in Jedda on Sunday, al-Otheimeen emphasized the OIC's support to Hadi's efforts in pursuing a peaceful solution and stability in Yemen, the aims of the UN resolutions, the GCC Initiative and the outcomes of Yemen's National Dailogue.
He condemned the Houthis for avoiding peaceful settlement and their continuity to violate human rights. He also condemned the Houthi killing of Ali Abdullah Saleh and the militia's terrorist activities that endanger the regional and, by extension, global peace.
He also condemned the terrorist militia and its military sponsors for firing of ballistic missiles against Saudi territories.
