Deputy, Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi met Monday with the deputy of French ambassador to our country Arman Marcarian.
Yemeni-French bilateral ties, mainly in the area of economic cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
The foreign minister cited economic hardships and humanitarian crisis Yemeni has been struggling with in light of the war waged by Houthi militia against the Yemeni people, which has been continuing to destruct the country's economic infrastructure.
Al-Mikhalafi expressed thanks for France for its contribution to humanitarian relief campaigns, he also voiced hope that French friends will contribute to the reconstruction process in Yemen.
The French diplomat reiterated his country's support for legal leadership in Yemen and relief and humanitarian initiatives.
