Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met on Sunday with the governor of Taiz province Dr Ameen Ahmed Muhmood.
The latest deployments in the province on top of all the ongoing battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia were key focus of the Vice President discussions with the governor.
The meeting also touched upon some topics relating to the governor's missions.
The Vice President praised sacrifices extended by the armed forces in the battles they have been fighting against Houthi militia, suggesting more cooperation and efforts drive the militia men out of Taiz and re-establish security and stability in the province.
The governor expressed thanks for the Vice President for his attention, affirming that all the population in the province are aligning themselves behind the legal leadership headed by President Abd-Rabb Mansour Hadi.
