VP discuses efforts aim to back the military in Amran province

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Sunday with governor of Amran province Maj. General Abdulrhaman Assa'r and deputies of governor.

The governor briefed the Vice President on a number of topics in Amran province where population have been suffering from Houthi militia violations and atrocities.

The Vice President highlighted the importance of increasing efforts and actions on the ground to help the government's troops defeating the militia and restore the state's institutions.

The governor has affirmed that the population of Amran are aligning themselves behind the legal leadership to defend the Yemeni identity and the nation's interests.
