The National Committee for Investigating into the Alleged Human Rights Abuses has met the Deputy Interior Minister Ali Naser al-Akhshaa over the complaints that security checkpoints in the entrances of Aden deny the entry of travellers coming from the north entry into the temporary capital city.
The chairman of the committee Ahmed al-Muflahi said the committee is investigating into CSOs reports on the security checkpoints' hindrance of people movement and is documenting its own cases through its own monitors of such violations of the citizens' freedom to enter Aden.
Al-Muflahi made clear that movement freedom is guaranteed by the constitution and the national legislations and is an inviolable rights in the international covenants to which Yemen is a signatory.
