Secretary General of Islamic Cooperation Organization (ICO) Dr Yousif Al-Othaimen received in Jeddah on Sunday Yemen's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Kingdom Dr Sha'ea Aznedani, Yemen's permanent envoy to the ICO.
Cooperation ties between Yemen and the ICO were discussed during the meeting.
Azendani expressed Yemeni government's appreciation for the ICO's support and assistance, particularly the ICO's contribution to humanitarian relief and actions in Yemen.
For his part, Dr Al-Othaimen affirmed that the ICO will continue to support Yemeni people and government." ICO is willing to support every effort aimed to maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability", he said.
The ICO Secretary General added:" is ready to exert every effort to increase aspects of cooperation with the government of Yemen in the humanitarian domain".
