Minister of Local Administration, chairman of Supreme Committee for Relief aids Abdulrqeep Fatah described a report by UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA about Yemen's harbors overall capacities as inaccurate and included misinformation.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Fatah cited total capacities of Aden seaport according data from Aden Harbors Administration. " Aden harbors are well qualified to receive one million containers and more than 227 thousands metric tons of wheat and food staffs. For fuels, Aden Oil harbor's capacity is 170 thousands metric tons of diesel, 130 thousand metric tons of petrol and 30 thousand metric tons of cooking gas", he stated.

Referring to the report by (OCHA) issued last October about Yemen's seaports' capacities, Fatah criticized it arguing that it included contradictory data." The report stated that total amounts of fuels and food staffs which entered the country thgouh Hodeida and Salif harbors reached to 32%, while OCHA reported amid this November that overall amounts of food staffs and fuels entered via the two seaports estimated at 80%, this is clear contrast, he explained.

The minister called on the UN organizations to respond positively to Saudi Arabia government's suggestion for using Jazan seaport to receive humanitarian relief materials, Jazan' capacity as six times as Hodieda's.

"UN organizations and officials need to be accurate about information that should only be obtained from legal government instead of misleading data disseminated by rebellious militias", said Fatah .
