KSRelief Center carries out 162 projects in Yemen totaling $715 millions

Spokesperson of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions (KSRelief) Center Dr Samer Al-Jotaili announced that total number of projects carried out by KSRelief Center in Yemen reached to 162 by 85 partner with total cost estimated at $715 million.

Speaking at press conference held in the headquarters of the center in Riaydh, Al-Jotaili said that" Saudi Arabia suggested to make Jazan seaport ready to receive humanitarian and relief aids, and Hodieda harbor must be used for humanitarian purposes and shall be put under UN supervision to ensure that humanitarian aids distributed to the people in need".

Al-Jotaibi cited the projects carried out by the KSRelief Center over the past month that included two projects aimed to control Cholera pandemic. The Center signed on two projects to be carried out in cooperation with the WHO. The total projects total cost estimated at ($23.740.133).

He noted that the KSRelief Center singed over the recent few days on two projects intended to launch second phase of re-habilitate the children who were recruited by Houthis' militias and those who suffered traumatic experiences due to the crisis in Yemen.
