Mohammed Afifi the spokesman of the Arab League Secretary General said that the League welcomes any regional or international efforts of initiative for offering relief aid to the Yemeni people.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Afifi he said the league welcomes any initiative "including the delivery of aid to Sana'a International Airport given what the current humanitarian crisis Yemen is going through."
"The gravity of the humanitarian situation in Yemen necessitates attaching high priority to this matter by all parties of the international community, this is something all the League's resolutions on Yemen affirmed," he said.
"It is time that the Houthi militias and their allies and backers to realize that they are wreaking havoc in the country and that they are inflicting a severe suffering on millions of Yemeni people and innocent people."
