The Republic of Yemen has strongly condemned the terrorist assault, targeted al-Rawda mosque on Friday in the town of Bir al-Abed that resulted in killing 200 and wounding 130 more.
The Foreign Ministry issued a statement, the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy of it, in which the Ministry stated that such terrorist acts against innocent people in worshiping buildings have nothing to do with our Islamic values and religion.
The statement confirmed the Republic of Yemen's solidarity with the Republic of Egypt, and Yemen supports all measures taken by the Egyptian leadership to maintain its security and stability.
The statement underlined the need for combating terrorists elements and views.
The Foreign Ministry expressed the Yemeni government sympathy with the Egyptian government, peoples and relatives of the victims.
