Yemen's ambassadors to Canada Jamal Abdullah Assalal participated in Round-table dialogue organized by the Canadian Parliament.
The discussions concentrated on International trade and included ambassadors of friendly nations from different parts of the world.
The deputy speaker of Canadian Senates noted that the Canadian Parliament and government support the Yemeni people and internationally recognized government and UN efforts aimed to make peace.
For his part, ambassador Assalal called on the Canadian government to further engage in the Middle East issues, specifically in the political process in Yemen within the 18 nations backing the political transition process.
