Training course for human rights monitors inaugurated in Aden

The National Committee for Investigating into Alleged Human Rights Abuses inaugurated a training course for a number of human rights monitors in Aden on Thursday.
The training which will last several days will improve the monitors' skills in describing the abuses and establishing facts from the gathered information.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Askar praised the Committee's efforts in gathering precise and neutral information amidst challenges faced everywhere in the country especially the areas controlled by the Houthi-Saleh rebel militias.
The chairman of the Committee Ahmed al-Moflahi affirmed the country's keenness to monitor all the abuses committed against the Yemeni people by all the warring parties in a professional, transparent and neutral way.
Ishraq al-Maqtari a member of the Committee said the course comes after a radical change in the committee.
"Several new members with judicial and law-related skills joined as members of the committee," she said.
