[19/11/2017 05:54]

CAIRO-SABA
Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abu Al-Ghait blamed Iranian interferences for Yemen's instability and lingering civil war by providing Houthis militias with weapons.

He made clear that Iran's scheme seeks to make Yemen a thorn in the lean of Saudi Arabia Kingdom and Arabian Gulf.

Addressing Arab League Usual Round held Sunday in Cairo, Abu Al-GHait stated that Iran's systematic policy is the main reason for prolonging the Yemeni conflict.

The Secretary General of Arab League noted that Iranian Ballistic Missiles Program poses an existential threat to stability in the region, indicating that Houthis militias fired (232) ballistic missiles out of which 76 against Saudi Arabia, all are Iran made, said Abu Al-Ghait.

Abu Al-Ghait called on the International community to deal firmly with Iran's spoiler polcy. "Iran has capitalized on its nuclear program deal to promote sectarian division in the region to serve its own long-term strategy", he said.
