Taiz Security Committee discussed on Wednesday security plans for tightening security and stability and overcoming different challenges facing locals.
Deputy Governor of Taizfor Security AffairsAbdulkarim al-Saberi, who presided over the meeting for the committee, said political activities should be away of security performance and all must stand united for the security of Taiz and protecting the state's offices and boosting its institutions.
"Today, Taiz needs us more than any time before, we must shoulder our security responsibility away of blackmailing practices had been practiced by tools of former regime," said al-Saberi.
He warned that deterring measures will be taken against misconducts of police personnel.
For his part, the Director of Taiz Police General Mohammad al-Mahmoudisaid security has never collapsed as it happened when security forces surrendered to Houthi-Saleh's militias and fought against their own people,neglecting the national oath.
"We are now working on re-building security apparatus from zero level after totally destroyed," said al-Mahmoudi, adding:" There are other security agendas to be imposed on Taizi people and on their security apparatus."
"We have to deter any agenda out of security institution and its professional performance," he said.
