Prime Minister arrives in United Arab Emirates on official visit

Yemen, Russia discuss Houthi-Saleh's escalation in the region

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr discussed on Monday with Russian Ambassador to Yemen FladimirDedushkinHouthi-Saleh militias' escalation and their rejection to all peace efforts.

The meeting dealt with recent rocket attack against Saudi Arabia by the rebel militias, which reaffirms clear intentions of the militias of dealing positively with any UN or international effort for stopping the war and implementing the three peaceful solution's references.

The two parties discussed the significant Russian role and of the international community to exert pressure on Houthi militias and Iran for halting their sabotaging project.

They also discussed Russian support to Yemen in field of power soon in the future.

Prime Minister praised the Russian firmed position in supporting the legitimacy in Yemen and efforts inside the UN and the Security Council to end suffering of the Yemeni people and implementing the peace references.

" The peace will not be achieved as long as Iran maintains its aggressive approach against the world via its sabotaging tools represented in Houthi militias, which it uses for serving its dangerous agenda targeting the security and stability of the Gulf countries led by Saudi Arabia and the international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab," said bin-Daghr.

He renewed keenness of the government on realizing peace and terminating the war imposed by Houthi-Saleh's militias on the government.

For his part, the Russian diplomat renewed his country's position supporting the legality and backing Yemen's security, stability and unity and rejection of Houthi escalation and policies.

He voiced his country's keenness on terminating suffering of Yemeni people.
