ADEN-SABA
The Houthi-Saleh rebel militias killed 300 and injured 1804 children in continual heavy shelling in the central Yemen city of Taiz in the period from the 11th April 2015 to the 18th September 2017, according to the Yemeni Coalition for Human Rights Violations.

In its latest report entitled "Yemeni Children Under Fire", the Coalition said that"four boys and girls were killed and 193 others have been killed since the onset of 2017, by Howitzer and mortar shells the Houthi-Saleh militias fired on the densely populated neighborhoods and streets of Taiz."

The Coalition said the militias strike purely civilian population concentrations "where there are no government targets, a case-in-point is the latest target they hit; Onswah village in western Taiz which they hit early this month killing five children and injuring two others."

"Onsowa village has been under blockade by the Houthi-Saleh militiasfor more than two years. The Houthi-Saleh snipers shoot anyone who enters into or get out of thevillage unless they use some safer rough routes(away from the snipers' sight and reach). "

The Coalition called on the Houthi-Saleh militias to cease hostilities against the civilians in general and children in particular in Taiz and all areas where they are fighting the government.
It pleaded with the National Committee for Investigating into Alleged Human Rights Abuses to probe into the Onswa shelling to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

The Coalition called on the local and international rights groups to press the radical militias into halting their shelling of Taiz neighborhoods and stopping the militias' snipers who killcivilians and children passing the No Cross routes.

In its preparations of the report, the Coalition's fact finders visited Onswa village and gathered testimonies of the parents of the killed children and testimonies of acquaintances who witnessed that massacre.
