Minister of Information Moa'mer Al-Iryan blamed Iran for the ongoing warfare in Yemen arguing that Houthi militias don't act independently.

Al-Irayni met with deputy chairperson of Arab Peninsula Committee in the European Parliament.

During the meeting the minister provided an overview on the ongoing armed conflict in Yemen because of Al-Houthi coup d'état.

" Peace can't be realized in Yemen as Houthi militias' decision is decided by Iran, here is the problem. Iran employs Al-Houthis as an instrument to carry out its schemes in the region", Al-Irayni stated.

He went on detailing the European official on political transformation process that Yemen has embarked on under President Abd-Rabu M. Hadi. "political transition process in Yemen was backed regionally and internationally. It was directly guided and overseen by The UN that undertook supervision on the implementation of the GCC-brokered deal and its executive mechanism that produced the National Dialogue Conference, he explained.

The minister blamed Houthis militias for the ongoing devastating war and humanitarian crisis Yemeni people have been facing. "Houthis militias carried out coup d'état against the state and disrupting the transitional process. This is unacceptable and can't be tolerated", he said.
