Senior security officials meeting in the capital Aden on Tuesday set up an investigation panel into the terror attack on Aden Criminal Investigation Department two days ago.
Terrorists launched a surprised attack and car bomb before killing and injuring scores of soldiers and sparking a hostage crises. Hours later they were purged from the building.
The meeting of today brought together the Dep. Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Saleh Azandani, the Dep, Interior Minister for Human and Financial Resources Maj, Gen. Abdullah Jaber.
They discussed the consequences of the attack and set up an investigation panel headed by the Dep. interior Minister for Security Sector Maj. Gen. Ahmed Mansoor, as per President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's orders.
The panel will evaluate the security measures in practice, propose security measures and report their findings in the soonest possible.
