The Arab Coalition spokesman Col. Torki al-Maliki said on Saturday that the Coalition is committed to the international humanitarian law denying that Tuesday's airstrike market hit was a civilian target.
A statement from al-Maliki quoted by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that "it has been shown that what has been carried out in the place and time of the claim, is a highly valuable target, and a legitimate military objective."
The statement indicated that all rules of engagement are followed in the Coalition's military operations against the Houthi-Saleh rebel militias.
The Arab Coalition intervened in 2015 to stop the Iran-aligned militias from swallowing all the Yemeni state and restore the internationally recognized Yemeni government upon the request of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
