Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher, First Vice President the General People Congress (GPC) chaired a meeting of Steering Committee (ST) and Permanent Committee (PC) of the GPC.
The meeting held Thursday with presence of Dr Rashad Al-A'limi, member of SC , Ministers of Information Mo'amer Al-Irayani, Legal Affairs Nehal Al-Awlaqi, Higher Education Hussien Ba-Salamah and several more ministers and MPs.
The meeting devoted to discuss topics related to re-organizing and restructuring the GPC in view of the developments the country has seen recently.
Dr Bin-Dagher described the GPC as the party of the majority of the Yemeni people and it is a party of the entire homeland. He denounced storming and occupying headquarters of the GPC in some governorates, describing such practices as sabotage actions.
" These practices are inconsistent with democracy and multi -party policy. This is unacceptable and strongly condemned, should never be tolerated", he said.
He continued to say:"Were going to re-build the GPC and re-structure the party's democratic organizational consistencies. The Permanent Committee would be convened on the Yemeni territory before long".
Bin-Dagher came to say:" We're engaged in construction campaign in Aden and all over Yemen, unfortunately some people don't want this to happen".
"However, we'll never give in. We won't let republican regime to collapse in Sana'a , nor the unity will be allowed to be disunited in Aden", he asserted.
Dr Bin-Dahger expressed thanks to the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for restoring legality in Yemen.
