Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Mohammed Assa'eedi discussed aspects of economic cooperation with the Turkish ambassador to our country.

Turkish grant to Yemen was in focus of Dr Assa'eedi's talks with the Turkish ambassador on Thursday.

The Turkish government promised Yemen a grant totaling $100 million in the donors conference held in Saudi Arabia in 2012.

Dr Assa'eedi highly praised active role the Turkish government has been playing in sustaining development and stability process in Yemen.

The Turkish diplomat has confirmed Turkey's support to Yemen legal government and political settlement based on the GCC's deal, National Dialogue's outcomes and UN Security Council resolution 2216.
