Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher has made clear that Yemen's support to the US new strategy toward Iran based on full awareness of the Iranian spoiling role aiming at destabilizing Arab region, furthermore Iran has largely been entangled in backing the coup d'état against Yemeni legality, prolonging warfare, seriously exacerbating humanitarian tragedy and calamity.

During his meeting Wednesday with the US ambassador to our country Matthew Tuller, Bin-Dagher said:" Houthi-Saleh rebellious militias and their sponsors should understand that a coup d'état by armed militias against legal authority and an elected president wouldn't be acceptable, it would be rejected and resisted so as not to be repeated in any other country".

Yemeni-American cooperation in fighting terrorism was in focus of Bin-Dagher and Tuller talks.

The Prime Minister indicated that International community, UN, Security Council and Saudi-led Arab Coalition have an important role to play in backing legal government. They need to press for enforcing the binding international Security Council resolutions no. 2216.

Bin-Dagher has reaffirmed that legal government has been willing to cooperate with any efforts aiming to press for political solution based the GCC's Initiative, National Dialogue Conference' outcomes and International Security Council resolution 2216. The international community ought to press for peace to help ending the Yemeni peoples scourge caused by the coup d'état against legal authority three years ago.

Bin-Dagher stated that the coup d'état militias have never been seriously seeking to peace as their decision is hostage in the hands of their sponsors in Iran.

The Prime Minister lauded the Saudi-led Arab Coalition' s military assistance and humanitarian aid and relief as well as combating terrorism.

He expressed Yemeni government and peoples thanks to the American support to Yemen's legality.

The American ambassador reconfirmed his government's support to Yemen's legal authority, security, stability and unity.
