Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Campaign against infant polio launches in Hadhramout

The Dep. Governor of Hadhramout for the Wadi and Desert Districts AbdulhadiAtameemi has launched the national campaign for vaccination against infant polio which is being organized by the Ministry of Public Health.
The campaign is meant to target 88,998 children 17,019 of them are less than one year old, and 71,980 others are below five.
In addition to vaccination, the campaign includes a nutritional screening of 80,500 children between six months and five years old.
As many as 966 volunteers split into 18 teams are the ones who are conducting the campaign.
