Yemen's Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Adel Ba-Hamee has briefed Malaysian officials on the consequences of the military takeover mounted by the Saleh-Houthi militias in 2014.
In a meeting with the Crown Prince of the Malaysian state of Perlis Tuanku Jamalullail and the premier of the state Dato Azlan, Ba-Hameed pointed out to the military developments and wretched humanitarian conditions as a result of the militias refusal to comply with the UN resolutions which demand their handover of weapons and withdrawal from Yemeni cities including the capital Sana'a.
He hailed the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's efforts to restore the state and Malaysian Yemeni relations.
The Malaysian officials expressed their keenness to develop the relations with Yemen including in the field of education.
