PM directs to allocate YR 400 mln for an Ahwar wave breaker

Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr has issued directions the Government to allocate YR 400 million to set up a wave breaker for Ahwar districts in the Arabian sea port province of Abyan in southeast Yemen.

In a meeting with the Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hussein and several members of the local government in Aden on Wednesday, bin-Daghr also directed the Fishery Ministry to prepare a study for establishing a firth for the convenience of the fishermen in Shoqra and the allocation of YR 23 million to finish the sanitation project of Alhesn all in Abyan.

He hailed the sacrifices of the Abyanis saying that with their cooperation the government managed to defeat the Saleh-Houthi militias and al-Qaeda organization in the province.
