The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC( held a meeting today, Sunday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the attendance of its members Sultan al-Arada, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, and via video call Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami and Othman Majli, while Aidaroos al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh and Faraj al-Bahsni were absent with an excuse.

Vice President Ali Mohsen has been acquainted with latest developments in Shabwa and efforts of completing the process of liberating the province from Houthi-Saleh's militias and normalizing conditions.
In his meeting with Governor of Shabwa Ali al-Harithi on Monday, along with the Commander of Ataq Command and the Commander of Brigade 30 General Aziz Salem, Mohsen confirmed doubling efforts and working on securing lives of the citizens, protecting establishments and public interests and mobilizing efforts with different components of the province to restore the state and its institutions.
He was briefed on latest military and field developments in the province and efforts of local authority in deep rooting security and stability.
"Facing terrorism, completing liberation of Baihan District, imposing the rule of law and providing services to people is on top list of our priorities," said Mohsen.
He issued directives to local authority and security forces to double efforts to achieve the admirable aims to enhance performance of the state's institutions in the province.
For his part, Governor of Shabwa confirmed readiness of the police, officials and military and security forces for realizing security and pushing the development wheel forward.
