PARIS-SABA
A number of human rights activists have organized a rally in front of the UNICEFheadquarters in the French capital Paris to deplore the Saleh-Houthi militias' systematic violations against Yemeni children.
In a statement of which Saba obtained a copy, the protesters condemned the international silence for the militias' atrocities committed in sight and hearing of the world.
The protesters said the militias'"continue to compulsorily recruit children for soldiering and fighting a lost war."
They said that the children are subjected to "mass killing, violation of their innocence, targeting of their residences and schools by the Saleh-Houthi militias."
They warned that the "coup militias' hostile religious attitudes against children goes to the extent of changing their school textbooks to graduate generations that knows only the language of killing and death."
The protesters called on the UNICEF and the international community in general to pressure on the militias to stop recruiting child soldiers immediately in all provinces.
