In a workshop organized by the Belgian Royal Institute in Brussels Wednesday on the political process in Yemen, Yemen's Ambassador to Belgium and the EU, Mohammed Mustafa, said that the Saleh-Houthi coup militias receive big support including weapons from Iran, the country that has been meddling in the internal affairs of Yemen and destabilizing the whole region.

The workshop was attended by EU, ambassadors, officials and representative of humanitarian relief organizations.

Mustafa, renewed the government's interest in peace based on the principles of partnership in power and equitable sharing of wealth within the framework of a federal Yemen.

The suffering in Yemen, he said, "is because of the Saleh-Houthi militias takeover of the state, and non-compliance with the United Nations resolutions.".
