The continuing coup d'état of the Saleh-Houhi militias negatively affectsthe humanitarian situation in Yemen, said Sameer Shaybani the Deputy Minister of Human Rights.

In a seminar organized by AdalahOrganization in London on Sunday under the title "Yemen: The Day After Tomorrow", Shaybani called on the international community o press the militia into halting their systematic atrocities against people, their looting of public resources, and into complying with the terms of reference for peace.

He called on the international community to play an effective role in providing support that alleviates the tragic situations caused by the coup d'état of 21st September 2015.

He gave the audience an overview on the gross violations committed by the militias in all Yemeni provinces, and on the putschists' hostile attitude toward the historically-aspired for change.

He indicated that the rebel militias monopoly over the state resources and harnessing of them for funding their hostilities and acts of killing the Yemeni people.

He said that the government on is part has always been extending is hand for a lasting peace that stops bloodshed as per the locally and internationally agreed upon three terms of reference for peace.

He said that the terms (the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue conference and the UNSC resolution 2216 are the only guarantor of peace.
