PM: War crimes against Taiz civilians won't be barred by lapse of time
[16/09/2017 07:04]

SAYOON-SABA
Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr said the war crimes that the Saleh-Houthi militias commit against Taiz civilians, children, women, and elderly, won't be barred by the lapse of time.

In a statement to Saba on Saturday, bin-Daghr said: "this crime that the militias committed yesterday rendering 14 civilians killed and injured, the most of whom are children, is a war crime and its perpetrators will face justice, no matter how much is their haughtiness and cruelty."

"The international human rights organizations which happen to be convening in the UNHRC's 36th session in Geneva now are required to condemn this crime, which represents an explicit defiance by the militias to the international community."

The Saleh-Houthi coup militias reportedly fired a Howtzer shell on Addoba and other neighborhoods in Hawdh Al-Ashraf, Taiz, on Friday evening killing three children and injuring 10 others.

The radical Iran-aligned militias have been besieging the highly populated Taiz for more nearly three years barring the movement of individuals to and from the city and entry of any humanitarian aid.

Besides that, from their tophill military sites, they shell the city's neighborhoods on almost a daily basis killing and maiming people, most of them civilians.
