The National Committee for Investigating into Alleged Human Rights Abuses has assigned a team of experts to find facts on Friday's attack by the Saleh-Houthi militias in Taiz that reportedly incurred 13 casualties, most of them children.

In a statement, the Committee said it "assigned a team of law experts and specialists to conduct a field visit to the scene of the incident and gather preliminary information,and to interview the casualties, their relatives and the witnesses."

"The Committee regrets that the violations against the unarmed civilians in Taiz neighborhoods are still continuing and deems that a stark infringement of the International Humanitarian Law which criminalizes the exposure of civilians to danger or directing retaliatory acts to them," it said.

Reports say the militias fired a Howitzer shell into downtown Taiz killing three and seriously injuring 10 others all of them children, save one.
