Yemen has condemned in the strongest terms the terror bombing of an underground London train that caused several commuters to be injured on Friday morning.
"The government of Yemen strongly condemns this criminal attack against the friendly United Kingdom of Britain, and asserts its full solidarity with the government and people of the United Kingdom," read a statement issued by Yemen's Foreign Ministry.
"As we, in the government of the Republic of Yemen, condemn these terror acts, we realize well that the policy of arm twisting that the terror entities practice against the international community should not go unpunished. Following that should be the draining of terrorism and extremism finances," added the statement.
The government called for international collaboration to stave off terrorism and expressed wishes of speedy recovery for the people injured in the incident.
