Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr has emphasized the importance of picking up the pace of development in all business sectors in Hadhramout as well as in all government-held areas.
Chairing a meeting with the local executive authority in Hadhramout today in the presence of Shabwah governor Ali al-Harithi, bin-Daghr called for smooth administrative interaction and stepping up the levels of performance.
He raised with the executives numerous issues on management and financial revenue concerns and how to run the different sectors in a strained context like the present one, saying perseverance, determination and sense of national and moral responsibility is needed to meet the demands of the public.
The discussions addressed the issues related to electricity, water, health, education and other services.
He called for distancing from political disputes and moving toward development. He said the choice of a six-region federal state ensures a fair sharing of wealth and power, and ends the victimhood of the past since regions will also have much authority delegated to them.
