Prime Minister launches MukallaCenteral Bank branch

MUKALLA-SABA
Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr, along with Hadhramnout Governor Faraj al-Bahsani and Governor of Shabwa Ali al-Harithi, launched on Wednesday the work in the branch of the Central Bank of Yemen here.

Bin-Daghr confirmed that the government has overcome currency crisis in Hadhramout and in other liberated provinces with the provision of enough funds to branches of the central bank there.

The work in Mukalla bank will ease many duties of the bank in providing services to the people and facilitate paying salaries of all government employees here, said bin-Daghr.

He was briefed by Director of the CBY branch here on damages inflected the bank and looting YR 27 billion by terrorist al-Qaeda network during the war on Mukalla.

For his part, Governor al-Bahsani praised efforts exerted by the government for normalizing conditions and providing cash to the bank and efforts of President Hadi for taking care of Hadhramout Province and implementing projects.

Earlier, Prime Minister bin-Daghr arrived Hadhramout within his field visits to the liberated provinces for inspecting people conditions and bringing conditions into their normal.

On Tuesday, he chaired a meeting for commanders of the military and security units in Hadhramout and urged them on exerting efforts to tighten security and on normalizing conditions in the province.
