KSA's attitudes toward Yemen won't be forgotten, al-Eryani says
[12/09/2017 02:59]

RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani said on Tuesday that "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's brotherly attitudes toward Yemen won't be forgotten by Yemenis, generation after generation."

In a press statement, al-Eryanithanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their royal orders to transform the visitor status of tens of thousands of Yemeni labor in the Kingdom "to a permanent residency status."

He said this is a special privilege the Saudi leadership is giving to Yemen "in recognition of the hard circumstances Yemen is going through as a result of the coup d'état" that plunged the country into conflict.

"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a leadership, government and people have had a significant supportive position toward Yemen in all historical stages." The biggest such support is the Kingdom's help to the Yemeni state counter the bloody gangs of putschists.
Al-Eryani said that Yemenis constitute more than 20% of the expat labour working in Saudi Arabia and these Yemeni workers earn the livelihood of more than 10 million persons in their country.
The war caused a high surge of Yemenis in Saudi Arabia, many of them sought refuge from the Iran-aligned militia.
What did Iran offer to Yemen beyond destruction and smuggling of arms ton kill Yemenis? al-Eryani inquired sarcastically.
