VP emphasizes completion of army building

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to complete the process of army building.

In a meeting with the newly appointed Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Dr. Taher al-Aqili, the Vice President called for addressing the irregularities that the Houthi militias incurred in the military institution; replacements of nationalistic personnel with loyalists to the radical sectarian group.

The Chief of Staffa affirmed that the process of reorganization and building of the military is underway with a view to creating a nationalistic army that defends Yemenis and protects the interests of brotherly and friendly countries.
