Prime Minister launches power plant in Lahj

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr has launched here a power plant with output of 10 MW provided by the United Arab Emirates.

In his visit to Lahj on Saturday, he inspected needs of the province of service projects and got acquainted with people concerns.

The visit comes in implementation of directives of President Hadi, said bin-Daghr, confirming that the government will implement a number of service projects to alleviate people's suffering.

He praised efforts of Lahjis for defending the republic and the legitimacy and deterring Houthi-Saleh's militias for keeping the province stable.

Lahj is the homeland of culture, poetry and creativeness and it is the city which embraced senior Yemeni poets and writers and provided and still providing the most significant leaders for defending the republic and the unity in its new shape of federalism, said bin-Daghr.

He praised efforts of the United Arab Emirates for supporting service projects in Lahj.
