ADEN-SABA
The Saleh-Houthi coup militias have broken into the house of Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani in the capital Sana'a today.
Al-Eryani told Saba, "the militias stormed the house after kidnapping its guard and breaking the doors, looting the contents of it in a manner free from humanitarian and moral values."
"Such unruly behaviors by the this gang is not the first of its kind, but a new one in a series of crimes and malpractices against civilians and politicians."
Al-Eryani said his house "cannot be dearer than the blood of the martyrs: the women, children and elderly whom the Saleh-Houthi militias shed their blood in the different cities and provinces of Yemen through indiscriminate and continuous bombardment."
"This gang rebelled against the outcomes of the National Dialogue and looted a whole country and used its properties for financing their war to kill the Yemeni people who are aspiring for freedom, justice and equality."
He said the militias have no agenda save destruction, killing and kidnapping civilians, and breaking into houses. "Because they are in control of the capital Sana'a by power of weapons, the militias are trying to intimidate the citizens to take over power."
He said, "I will continue to fight against the Persian occupation as long as I am alive."
"Where is the stance of the international community and the UN special envoy to Yemen against these practices of the militia," he inquired. "What is the stance of the UN Human Right Council and that of their representative in Sana'a toward such intimidation which journalists are subjected to?"
